Lou Barletta makes it official!

On Feb. 7th Hazleton Pa. mayor Lou Barletta officially announced
he is a candidate for Congress for Pennsylvania's 11th Congressional District.
Declaring that "We don't need another politician in Washington, we need a leader", Mr. Barletta will challenge 12 term Democrat Paul Kanjorski
in November.

This is something we have been working toward for months, and now that
mayor Barletta has decided to run, we realize our work is really just beginning.

After District Judge James Munley struck down Hazleton’s Illegal Immigration Relief Act as an infringement of federal immigration policies, we came to the conclusion that the federal statutes need to be changed.
And we can think of no one better to lead the fight for change than Lou Barletta.
He has been calling out for reform since the beginning.
He has been a leader in the fight against illegal immigration.
Some of you are thinking "This doesn't affect me, I can't vote for him".
We urge you to think again.
Lou Barletta is exactly the type of person we need in Congress, regardless of which city or state they are from.
Someone who understands the problems that illegal immigrants create, and who has the courage to try to do something about it.
